The fiber arts allows people to have my fractals printed directly to T-shirts.  It also means you can buy fractals as fashion accessories.  Here are some of the other choices: canvas totes, hats/caps, mousepads.  I will add more choices to this page so please be sure to check back periodically.

(T-Shirts)

This is a process whereby the shirt is put through a machine that applies inks directly to it.  Other processes use heat transfer papers to embellish a shirt with text, graphic, logos, etc.  Direct-to-Garment printing doesn't use heat transfers.  Once the garment has finished the printing process it is removed and heat sealed using a professional heat press.  The heat press provides even pressure and uniform temperature to the entire image area.  The heat press bonds the inks with the fibers.  This process does permit printing to both sides of a shirt.

The maximum print area is 12 inches wide by 18 inches long.  In the past I made one-of-a-kind T-shirts.  All of those early fractals were from Volume001.  to ensure I do not accidentally reprint the same fractal fractals from Volume001 shall not be printed to shirts.  As a rule only fractals with a native resolution of 2048 by 1536 or higher can be printed up to the maximum print area.  So fractals from the Limited Edtion gallery and those from the Posters gallery will be your best choices at this time.  Layered or 3D fractals cannot be resized to accommodate these larger print dimensions.  Layered and 3D fractals are better suited for canvas totes, hats/caps, and mousepads.

All shirts are heavy weight 50/50 cotton/poly blends from Anvil, Gildan, or Jerzees.  Fractals can be printed to natural, white, and light colored fabrics.  When printing to light colored or natural shirts there will be a minor change from how the fractal looks on the computer screen or on plain paper to how it will look on the garment.

(Care Instructions)

When you wash your garment be sure to turn it inside out in the washing machine, leave it inside out when you place it in the dryer, and turn the dryer to low heat if possible.  A low heat setting will take longer to dry.
