11 by 14 inch prints, 16 by 20 inch prints, 24 by 36 inch prints

(Digital Print Option: Framed and Unframed Prints)

General Details about the art:

Above are three links to the fractals that I had on display in the Fine Arts "F" building at Georgia Perimeter College, Clarkston campus.

All 11 x 14 inch prints feature acid-free and pH neutral matt boards, they are printed on acid-free photographic papers, with either pigmented inks or toner inks rated to last up to 75 years before fading is visible to the naked eye.

All 16 x 20 inch and 24 x 36 inch prints are mounted on 3/16 inch black gatorboard, with a matte lamination, and are printed using LightJet technology onto Fuji's Crystal papers.

The prices you see on this page refer to existing art printed using LightJet and Archival Giclee prints.  Through my Zazzle account you have direct control of the quality of your prints.  If you want dye-based inexpensive prints they have you covered.  If you want to bump up the quality by choosing their UV archival inks and/or different grades of paper they have that too.  Sure, it will cost more to choose better inks and/or papers.  But it will likely last as long as or longer than the original customer if the prints are properly cared for.  Not only do you have control of the quality of your purchase through Zazzle, but many of my fractals can be personalized to your tastes.  Maybe you want your fractal purchase matted or framed?  They can do that too.

How does a LightJet work?

LightJet printers use continuous tone photographic media, which means each point on an image can be any shade of 68 billion colors.  The higher range of possible colors results in more accurate representation of color-sensitive subjects such as skin tone. Internal drum imaging provides better image sharpness.  LightJet internal drum technology ensures more uniform image quality across the entire width of the print, highest geometric accuracy, better image sharpness, highest density and excellent color uniformity. Lightjet imaging technology ensures a constant pixel size, shape, and intensity over the entire image. Media is held stationary within a precision internal drum, while a spinning mirror directs laser light to expose reflective and backlit photographic material. Using red, green, and blue lasers the Lightjet achieves true continuous-tone photographic prints.
Inkjet printers, which simulate photo quality with half-tone dot patterns, would need to image at 4000 dpi to duplicate the same crispness, highlights, and shadow detail. Lightjet outputs up to 50 inches wide at an apparent resolution of 4,000 dpi.  These inkless images are rated to last up to 100 years before fading is visible to the naked eye.

To care for your art do not place it in direct sunlight, do not place it near a furnace or heat vent, rotate your art annually from one room to another or place them in storage in a cool and dry place.  In other words with proper care your art will last up to 75 to 100 years and will provide a lifetime of enjoyment.  If you are unsure whether the fractal you like can be printed at the size you desire please send an email to Bruce Berryhill at fractal_artist@mindspring.com with your question.  I will get an answer back to you as soon as I can.

I accept cash and personal checks, but checks must clear my bank before any works are printed.  For expedience please pay in person with cash.  Please contact me to make arrangements for payment and delivery/pickup of your art.  The prices shown on this page do not include postage, handling, or shipping fees.

These murals are printed on a 15 ounce Type-II (commercial-grade), flame-resistant, fabric-backed vinyl wall covering. Murals are printed with the highest UV-rated inks on the market lasting up to 20 years for indoor applications.  The vinyl produces a clean, smooth finish for crisp image reproduction.  The material is tear proof and completely washable with mild soap and water.  Please avoid harsh chemicals or excessive scrubbing as this can damage the surface of the mural.  The murals are not pre-pasted and go up much like wallpaper.
Your mural may have as much as an extra 2 inch image area all around the mural.  This is to accommodate irregular walls. After installation, you may trim off the excess if you wish.
