On this page you will have access to downloads of samples and/or full-length files. The sounds that you hear are created soley from my own fractal imagery. There are different recording lengths which will dictate the types of audio that you hear. There are also two ways of rendering the audio. In all each fractal can have up to ten different audio profiles. These profiles are available as .MP3s. Free downloads will be at 64 kbps. When you buy online the quality doubles to 128 kbps. When you buy directly from me the quality shoots up to 320 kbps. All of my Fractal Sounds .MP3 files have the copyright feature set. You can buy my Fractal Sounds in the following lengths: 47 seconds, 1m35s (1 minute 35 seconds), 3m10s, 6m20s, and 12m40s.
If you want to see the fractal that created the sound I will provide links to their location. If you want to see the sound using Winamp's visualizations then I recommend using "MilkDrop" as your visual plug-in. Depending on the speed and configuration of your PC you may want to max out the video settings. For my P3 750 I limit the video to either VGA or SVGA resolution with a frame rate of 60 to 120. If you don't want to use visualizations then download a bunch of cool skins for Winamp and set it to randomly change Winamp's player skins each time a file is played.
My first batch is a selection of 898 fractals from the Posters series Volume003. To date I have just over 3,100 .MP3s at 17.1 GigaBytes. Each audio file is a stereo recording saved at the highest bit rate. Please check back later for updates to this project.
