What are Fractal Sounds? They are the translation of a fractal into stereo sound. Each fractal image can be used to create up to twelve different types of stereo sound. The size, shape, color(s), among other factors are used to shape the sounds that are produced. The results can be quite unpredictable. You may have heard sounds like these from a science fiction movie, an eerie haunted house, or used as part of experimental / electronic music. I have not altered the sound files other than to convert them from .WAVs to .MP3s. Below I have some examples created using Rainbow themed fractals. These demo files last between 5 seconds to 4 minutes each.
